Future-Ready Early Learning

The Council for Children and Families Inc. (CCF) is a training and resource organization for people in the United States and internationally who work with children from birth to age 5. All our classes are suitable for teachers, other early childhood professionals, parents, and family members.

In Washington State, all the early childhood classes listed in this section are registered with the Department of Early Learning (DEL). They are also registered in the Managed Education and Registry Information Tool (MERIT) and are eligible for state-sponsored reimbursement for Washington State-licensed early childhood teachers.

Our early childhood classes can help participants obtain or renew Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials from the Council for Professional Recognition.

Currently, we offer:

• 3 correspondence classes

• 10 in-person classes

• CDA renewal assistance

• CDA Professional Development Specialist services

• Early childhood consultation

• Help organizing the child care environment

• Parenting workshops

• Early childhood resources
